Emma and Xander meet at Forrester Creations and dated briefly. Xander is the cousin of Maya Avant. He came from England. Emma was a Forrester intern and a dancer that worked on Hope For The Future.
First meeting[]
Xander saw Emma dancing in front of Hope Logan. Emma doesn't notice Xander and accidentally hits his face. Xander passes out, but when he finally regained consciousness Emma apologized to him and both of them are mesmerized by each other. The two start spending a lot of time together.
Xander defending Emma[]
Maya, Xander's cousin caughe Emma taking photos of the upcoming Forrester collection and fires her. Emma tried to convince Maya that she only took the photos for inspiration because she is creating the choreography for the fashion show and Xander defends her. Hope decided to give Emma a chance and asked for her absolute loyalty. Maya is worried that Emma might be bad news, but Xander is set on getting to know her better and he invites Emma for a date where they share their first kiss. Soon after Charlie Webber see's Emma holding her phone and accuses her for trying to steal the designs again, but she said that she is only sending texts. Xander again defended her.
Xander's confession[]
Xander confesses to Emma that he tried to hide his English accent, but he really came to LA from England. He also told her about his possessive ex, Zoe Buckingham, that he was running from. Xander is shocked when shortly after he finds out that Zoe has followed him to LA. She begs him for a new chance, but he encourages her to go back to London. When Hope For The Future page starts receiving threatening comments everyone thinks that these comments are for Hope and that Sally Spectra II is the author, but soon Xander started to suspect that it's Zoe's doing and that the comments are directed at Emma. Xanders suspicions turn out to be true. Emma is shocked to see Zoe and learn who she really is because some days before Zoe was pretending that she wants to get to know her and be a friend without revealing that she's Xander's ex. Xander demands Zoe to stay away from him, Emma and Forrester Creations.
Hope for the future fashion show[]
On the day of the fashion show both Xander and Emma are excited and happy. Emma is happily dancing on the stage and Xander is watching her. They are both unaware that Zoe is in the building. Emma and Xander are in shock when they see Zoe modelling the show stopper. The public loves Zoe and she wants to use it. Zoe asked Ridge Forrester if he could give her a chance at Forrester. Xander protests and again demands Zoe to leave USA.
Xander's divided feelings[]
Zoe again apologizes and asks for another chance. This time Xander admits that he kind of misses what they had, but he still wants her to leave. Thorne Forrester talks with Xander about his ex. Xander revealed that Zoe is not really a bad human being. Shortly after Thorne decides to hire Zoe. Xander is worried how Emma will reacts to these news. Emma isn't thrilled and Xander is comforting her.
Xander comforting his ex[]
Zoe's cat sadly passes away and she informs Xander. He is heartbroken because he and Zoe have adopted that cat together while they both lived in London. Xander decides to comfort his ex. He does confess to Emma that he saw Zoe and explains why he went to see her. Emma demanded Zoe to be fired from Forrester and the two girls started arguing. Xander encouraged the two to make peace.
Emma wants to wait[]
Emma and Xander attend Hope and Liam's wedding together and soon after that Zoe thanks Xander for not encouraging her to leave anymore and they share a kiss. Xander is visibly turned on by his ex, but decides to stay with Emma, which is a healthier choice. Soon after Xander to ignite a flame with Emma and he organizes a romantic date. Emma cool's Xander when she tells him that they won't have sex yet. He is very disappointed.
Break-up[]
Zoe tries to do everything to remind Xander of the hot memories they shared in the past. When Xander debuted as a model Zoe posed with him. Emma became jealous. Zoe invited Xander to celebrate his success with her, but he goes out with Emma instead. During their date Emma again tells him that there won't be any sex. She tells him that she wants to concentrate on her career and the two split up. Shortly after Xander falls into Zoe's arms again.
