Thorne Forrester is the first biological son of Eric Forrester and the second son of Stephanie Forrester. Taylor arrived to the show as an oncologist/psychiatrist. She's the daughter of Sharon Ashford and Jack Hamilton. Taylor was first married to Thorne's brother and he remained her greatest love however Thorne was a good friend that often helped her in time of need even after she accidentally caused his wife's death while she drove the car under the influence of alcohol.
Friendship (1997)[]

In 1997 Taylor is hurt and angry when she finds out that soon before her wedding day her fiance Ridge Forrester tried to stop his ex wife's wedding to Grant Chambers. The woman is furious and calls off the wedding. One day Taylor gets drunk and falls in her beach house. A fire started and Thorne was there to save her. Taylor is angry with Ridge and refuses to see him when he wants to see her at the hospital. Thorne and Taylor bond and develop a friendship. He secretly is in love with her and hopes for something more, but Taylor still loves Ridge and the two soon make love. Unluckily for Thorne Taylor and Ridge make a promise to be with each other forever. Ridge tells Taylor that he stayed with Brooke Logan Forrester in 1995 only because of Brooke's children. Soon after Ridge gets arrester because he wants to protect Brooke's son Rick Forrester and lies that he and not Rick was the one who shot Grant Chambers. Taylor is devastated. Thorne decides to cheer her up and takes her to Hawaii meanwhile Ridge writes a love letter to Taylor and asks Jonathan Young to fax it to Taylor. Thorne see's it first and decides to hide it from Taylor and proposes to her, but gets rejected. Taylor starts having stomach pain and Thorne takes her to the hospital where she finds out that she's pregnant. Ridge found out that Taylor and Thorne went to the mountains together, gets drunk and goes to Brooke. Taylor see's the two in bed and her heart breaks.
Thorne and Taylor lie to Ridge about paternity[]
Taylor is so angry with Ridge that she agrees to Thorne's proposition and lies to Ridge that the baby belongs to Thorne. Taylor decided to accept Thorne's marriage proposal, but she constantly avoided actually getting married. Taylor told the truth only to her friend James Warwick. After talking to James Taylor wants to talk with Ridge, but Thorne stops her from doing it. Brooke found out that Taylor expects Ridge's baby and decides to tell him, but then Ridge proposes to her and she isn't able to do it anymore and becomes the next person to lie about the paternity. Soon after Brooke says that she's pregnant with Ridge, but Taylor suspects that it's a lie. Brooke tries to marry Ridge as soon as possible. On the day of the ceremony Taylor wanted to stop Ridge's and Brooke's wedding, but she started giving birth. Ridge and Brooke became a married couple and Taylor welcomed her first child Thomas Forrester. She decided to not write the father's name in the documents.
Ridge learns the truth, Thorne loses his chance with Taylor[]
Ridge found out the truth and is angry with Thorne, Taylor and Brooke for hiding the truth about his son from him. Ridge is torn between the two women, but he decides to stay with Taylor and their son Thomas and they get married in 1998.
A new chance for Taylor and Thorne (2006-2007)[]
Thorne's reaction after Taylor confessed that she killed Darla
Thorne and Taylor begun a new relationship after Thorne's wife Darla Forrester died tragically. At first Thorne wasn't aware that Taylor accidentally caused Darla's death, but she confessed it to him after he proposed to her in Big Bear Cabin. Taylor got arrester and Ridge hired Storm Logan as her attorney. Taylor testified that she is guilty even if Storm was against it. Storm wants Phoebe to become a witness, but Taylor refuses it and doesn't want to fight. Thorne decides to forgive Taylor and encourages her to fight for her freedom. Taylor wins the case and is released. She and Thorne continue their relationship and Thorne is helping her to deal with her alcohol addiction. Everything seems to be going in the right direction and Taylor even befriends Aly Forrester, Thorne's daughter. Everything changes when Aly plays with Hope Logan. The two children have a conversation in which Hope told Aly that Taylor killed Darla. At first Aly doesn't want to believe in it, but once she realized that it's the truth she cut Taylor's wedding dress and started being very hostile towards her. Thorne and Taylor decided to break up to not cause Aly anymore grief.
Dating again (2011-2012)[]
Taylor gets a psychic reading from a homeless man named Anthony. He told her that on the day that she see's a cat on her door she will see a man that she will be happy with. One evening she and her daughter Steffy Forrester found a cat and the same day Thorne came knocking at Taylor's door. Thorne said that he came back from Paris and wanted to know how she's holding up. Taylor tells him about the reading she got from Anthony. Thorne is surprised and soon kisses Taylor. The two can't stop thinking about one another.
Soon after Thorne has a plan to take over Forrester and wants to use Thomas and Steffy to do it, but Taylor rejects the idea because she doesn't want to set her children against their own father.
Taylor tells Thorne that she's not ready for a new relationship, but she soon changed her idea and the two show up to Forrester's official Christmas and also New Years party as a couple. They also spend the Valentines day as a couple. Thorne gifted her with a huge chocolate fountain.
In September 2012 Ridge and Brooke are getting married. Thorne comforts Taylor. Taylor assures Thorne that she moved on from Ridge, but she reminisces about their romantic trip to St. Thomas. The couple break up in 2012.
Another romance and Aly's disapproval (2014)[]
In April 2014 Thorne and Taylor start their romance once again, but because of Aly's hatred towards her they keep it a secret. In May 2014 they travel to Los Angeles because they want to reveal their relationship status to Aly. Taylor meets up with Thorne's daughter and she decides to threaten Taylor with an axe. Thorne decides to leave his job in Paris and leaves Taylor to be close to Aly. Oliver Jones, Aly's then boyfriend is horrified that she behaved this way and convinced her to accept her father's relationship with Taylor. Thorne and Taylor began dating again, but it soon ends again.
