Sally Spectra is portrayed by Courtney Hope. She is a member of the Spectra family. Thomas Forrester was portrayed by Pierson Fodé at the time of their relationship and he is the son of Ridge Forrester and Taylor Hayes.
First encounters[]
In January 2017 Sally and Thomas met at a restaurant. Sally decided to join Thomas's table to ask him why he looks worried. Thomas confessed that he is a designer at Forrester Creations. In February Sally got a call from her great-aunt Sally Spectra. Sally asked her sister's granddaughter to save Spectra Fashions. C.J. Garrison told Sally that he tried to re-start their family business, but with no success. Soon Thomas and Sally see each other at the restaurant again. Thomas learned that Sally is a Spectra and he was intrigued by her. When Sally revealed that she is going to work for Spectra and she showed Thomas her designs he criticized them. When the young Spectra found out that Thomas's sister Steffy Forrester is at il giardino she went there and initiated a fight. She asked her grandmother Shirley Spectra to record everything. Sally wanted to use this video to get publicity.
Kisses[]
Thomas came by to see Sally at Spectra Fashions. Sally assured Thomas that he won't be able to discourage her from designing clothes. Thomas surprisingly decided to kiss her. After it happened, Sally couldn't stop thinking about it. Soon Sally and Shirley decided that they need more publicity and they sneaked into the Forrester mansion during Zende Forrester Dominguez and Nicole Avant's wedding day. Both women were disguised by wearing staff uniforms, but Thomas recognized Sally and was amused by it. The Forrester man told Sally that she needs to leave his family's mansion and he kisses her again. Steffy recognized Sally and she put her head into a chocolate cake. Shirley recorded it and posted the video on-line.
Love, betrayal's & forgiveness[]
Sally was excited for the upcoming Spectra fashion show. After the show Thomas visited Sally and gave her flowers but he discovered that the beautiful redhead is devastated because her collection received a negative review. The desperate girl announced the collapse of the company. Shirley and Saul Feinberg II wanted to find a spy that would be able to show them secret Forrester designs. In their opinion the spy work should go to Coco Spectra, but Sally was adamant that her younger sister is a good person and she won't be able to steal designs. Sally asked Thomas to hire Coco at Forrester Creations. Soon the young Forrester told Sally that her younger sister got the job the internship at Forrester. Sally and Shirley asked Coco to be their spy, but as Sally suspected, Coco rejected the idea. Saul prepared a spy device that was put in a necklace and given to an unsuspecting Coco. Soon Thomas says goodbye to Sally after going to his sister's wedding to Sydney. He said that he regrets that he can't take her with him. Shirley encouraged Sally to go and soon she was on the cheapest plane to Australia. Thomas was happy to see Sally, but Steffy was less than thrilled and she warned the girl to not ruin her special day. Steffy even threw her into the ocean during their argument. Sally took few photos during the wedding, but decided to not post these photos on-line. Shirley realized that since her granddaughter doesn't want to use Thomas's family to get more publicity then she probably fell in love with him. After coming back to town the Spectra crew saw Ridge Forrester's designs through the spy camera. Sally begins having doubts about stealing the collection due to her growing feelings for Thomas. Shirley wanted to discourage her granddaughter from a relationship with Thomas by revealing that he has a son with Caroline Spencer II, Bill Spencer Jr. niece. Sally confronted Thomas about not revealing to her that he is a father. Thomas admitted that he made a mistake. Sally decided to break up with Thomas, but then he declared his love for her. Sally replied by saying that he should stop flirting with women and make a life with the mother of his son. Thomas didn't believe that Sally is leaving him because he didn't tell him about Douglas and Caroline and he wondered what is this all about. Thomas didn't want to give up and he was waiting for Sally in front of the Spectra building where he kissed her and confessed his love again. The woman asked him to leave. Sally was depressed that because of her actions Thomas and Coco will suffer. When the Spectra fashion show begun Thomas was shocked to see that Sally stole his family's designs. Sally begged Thomas for forgiveness, but he rejected to forgive. Sally complained to her grandmother about hurting Thomas and getting Coco fired from Forrester and she doesn't want to steal any designs again. Coco informed her sister that she will confess the truth to the police. Sally decided to go to Forester Creations and she confessed everything to Bradley Baker. Thomas asked everyone in the room to leave him and Sally alone. When they talked Sally explained to him that when she got the negative review from Jarrett Maxwell made her desperate. Thomas didn't understand why his girlfriend didn't ask him for help. Baker arrested Sally. In May 2017 Saul bailed Sally out. CJ told Sally that he has to close the company unless they will have 100k to pay the bills. Thomas decided that he doesn't want to see Sally in jail. The Forrester's agreed to drop the charges if Spectra Fashions will stop to exist. After declaring her love to Thomas Sally decided to leave LA and informed the young Forrester man about it. Thomas asked Sally to give herself time. Soon Thomas told the Spectra's that the original review for Sally's collection was positive, but Caroline's uncle exchanged it with Jarett's fake negative review. It made Sally believe in her own talent again. Bill wanted to buy Spectra's building, but after Thomas gave Sally 100k it the young Spectra decided to fight for her family business. Sally was grateful to her boyfriend and he reminded her that from now on they have to be honest. Sally told Thomas that she never loved anyone like she loves him, but Ridge Forrester interfered in their conversation. Ridge demanded a refund and for Sally and Thomas to end their relationship. Thomas tried to defend Sally and their love, but Ridge said that he doesn't want to hear about his son's feelings. Thomas was shocked when his father went further and fired him from Forrester Creations. Steffy accused Sally of using her brother. Thomas shocked Sally when he declared that he wants to design for Spectra. The Forrester man decided to talk to Coco in Sally's name and he encouraged her to forgive her older sister. Thomas, Sally, Steffy and her husband Liam Spencer talked at il giardino. Thomas and Sally wanted peace, but Steffy made it clear that she does not trust the Spectra girl. Thomas and Sally travelled to Monaco to attend the Forrester charity fashion show where Thomas publicly challenged Steffy to compete against Spectra fashions. Steffy agreed, but she accused Sally and Thomas of using the Forester's for publicity.
Caroline re-enters Thomas's life[]
In July 2017 Sally picked up the phone and heard Caroline Spencer II. Caroline wanted to talk to Thomas and asked for him to call her back. Soon after that Caroline was back in LA and she brought her and Thomas's son, Douglas Forrester, with her. Shirley comforted a distraught Sally. Thomas assured his woman that she has no reasons to be worried. Sally saw Caroline and Douglas in Thomas's loft and she angrily accused Steffy of brining Caroline back to LA. Steffy replied by saying that she will fight to get her out of her brother's life. Sally wondered if they should perform in Monaco, reminding Thomas that Bill wants to destroy their company. At the end of the Monaco show, Bill does not choose a winner, but announces that the show was not a competition, and that the funds for charity are the most important. Sally let's Caroline know that she won't give up on Thomas. Caroline tried to get Thomas back, but he reminded her that she was the one that left and he is in a relationship with Sally. Bill also tried to encourage Thomas to go back to Caroline.
Caroline's fake illness[]
Bill came up with a plan and he lied to Thomas that his niece is dying. In August 2017 Thomas informed Sally that Caroline is dying. Sally was devastated when Thomas said that he will move to New York to take care of his ex and their son. Sally assured Thomas that she understands him and will wait for him. Thomas called Sally from NY and told her that he is sure that she will be able to take care of the new collection without him. During an interview that Sally had with Liam she revealed to him that Caroline is ill. Liam didn't have any idea and was confused. Steffy told Sally to not be delusional because Thomas is going to stay in NY with the mother of his child. Soon CJ announced that he is selling the Spectra building. Sally figured out that Bill is behind everything. She asked her cousin to let her do one last show and reminded him that the company is his legacy. CJ decided to decline Bill's offer. Sally continued the interview with Liam and admitted that while Thomas is away, she is preparing the new collection herself. She also wanted to know if Bill still wants to harm her in any way and she suspected Liam is helping his father destroy her company. He assured that he does not always support his father's decisions. The Spectra fashion show went well, but soon after there was a big fire in the Spectra building. Sally desperately tried to save her collection from the fire, but with no success. Steffy and Liam felt bad for Sally when she ended up in a hospital. Thomas came to LA and visited Sally. Sadly Thomas explained to his girlfriend that he didn't come back to LA permanently because he still has to be with his son and dying Caroline. Sally assured Thomas that she understands his reasons and soon she wants to leave town. Thomas called Sally to tell her that Caroline's cancer is in remission, but he still wants to stay in LA and create a stable family environment for his son. Much to Steffy's displeasure, Liam wanted to help Sally in order to repair everything his father destroyed. While Liam went against his father and wife Sally fell for him. Steffy told Sally that she is setting herself up for disappointment if she feels anything else than gratitude to her husband. In November 2017 Liam told Sally that Bill is now the owner of the Spectra building and he wants to destroy it. Liam and Sally made a strike inside the building. Bill was sure that Liam left the building and he detonated the bombs. Soon after he found out that his son was inside. Both Bill and Steffy went to look for Liam and Sally inside the collapsed Spectra building. Sally and Liam were sure that they will die. The Spectra woman declared her love for Liam and he kissed her. Luckily Bill and Steffy found them and they were rescued. Liam felt bad about betraying his wife and told Steffy the truth. She was livid and left the house. Later Sally found out that Steffy cheated on Liam with nobody else, but his father Bill. When Liam moved out from the house he shared with Steffy, Sally went to see him and expressed her interest in him, but he made it clear that the feelings aren't mutual.
Moving to NY together and their break up[]
Sally, devastated after losing everything demands from Bill to build Spectra back, but he laughs in her face. Sally takes a gun and shoots at the skyscraper model that Bill was planning to build in Spectra's place. Not long after someone shoots Bill. Thomas comes back to town and explains to Sally that Bill lied about Caroline's illness and she was never sick. She assures that she wasn't the one who shoot Bill despite being angry with him. Thomas told Sally that he misses what they had. The two made love and in April 2018 they flew to New York together. Thomas offers Sally an opportunity to run their own fashion company. June 2018 Sally was already back in LA and meets Wyatt Spencer at The Bikini Beach Club. Sally explained to Wyatt that Thomas suddenly left her for Caroline without a warning. She told Bill's son that she is completely broke and she is planning to sleep on the beach. The two bond and soon they end up being a couple.
2019[]
Caroline died and Thomas moved back to LA together with his son. During the memorial service for Caroline Sally and Thomas met. Thomas apologized to Sally for everything. She was already in a relationship with Wyatt, at peace with Steffy and working for Forrester. Soon they started working in the same building where sometimes they talked. Thomas revealed to Sally that he plans on stealing Liam's wife, Hope Logan. He said that he always loved her. Sally said that she understands why she could never have his whole heart when they were together. Sally was shocked when she saw that Thomas is drawing childish drawings and wants to pretend that Douglas made them for Hope, but she keeps it to herself. Sally told Thomas to give up on Hope, especially because Hope and Liam are grieving the loss of their daughter Beth. She also assured her boyfriend Wyatt that she and Thomas aren't having an inappropriate relationship and he only needs some support after losing the mother of his child. After some time Sally revealed to Wyatt what Thomas told her, but he was angry that she wasn't honest with him sooner and he breaks up with her and moves on with his ex, Flo. Sally was furious at Thomas because she felt that she lost Wyatt because of him.
