When the character returned to the canvas in 1999 for the scenes where Raymond learned he could potentially be a father, the role was recast with actor Karim Prince. Raymond is a singer that has had a romance with Amber Moore. Amber became pregnant and she did not know if the father is Raymond or Rick Forrester, but the baby is stillborn, and it is revealed that Rick was the father of the baby.
