Owen was fired from Forrester Creations by Rick Forrester in 2009. After losing his job he was hired at Jackie M which is Jackie's company. At first Owen was flirting with both Bridget Forrester and Jackie, but after Bridget went back to Nick Marone Owens whole focus was on Jackie. Soon the two became a couple and Owen proposed to Jackie. Nick Marone, Jackie's son, wasn't thrilled about his mothers relationship with a much younger man and he believed that Owen is after the money and not love. Despite her son trying to stop the wedding, Jackie decided to marry Owen. The couple was in love, but they had many challenges. Owen's identical twin brother Casper Knight pretended being Owen and made a public interview in which he declared that his marriage is just a publicity stunt. The Marone woman was devastated and she shared a kiss with Whip Jones who was in love with her. Nick's mother felt awful when she realized that Owen never said those things and it was Casper, her brother in law. Jackie was feeling guilty so she decided to come clean about her kiss with Whip and about her past as a prostitute. Owen had a hard time after his wife's confession and decided to move out to a beach house. Jackie, desperate to rescue her marriage, decided jump out of a plane with a parachute that had a sign "I love you Owen". Knight saw it and loved it. He and Jackie made peace. Owen started to desire having a child, but Jackie wasn't able to give a child to him due to her age. After Jackie realized that Steffy Forrester fell in love with her husband after her saved her life on a boat she had an idea that Steffy could become the mother of Owens child however that idea has been dropped as the couple decides to remain childless. Jackie was heartbroken when she found out that Owen cheated on her with her own daughter in law Bridget Forrester who at the time was married to her son Nick Marone. Bridget becomes pregnant and Jackie forgives them both and decides to not reveal anything to her son. Nick found out and his relationship with Bridget fell apart. Bridget realized that she is in love with Owen and her brother Rick Forrester tried to help her by flirting with Jackie in hopes that she will free Owen. Rick went as far as proposing to the Marone woman. Jackie rejected the younger Forrester and remained with her husband. In 2011 Owen and Jackie have a vow renewal ceremony however the same year Jackie came to a painful conclusion that Bridget, Owen and their son Logan Knight are now a family and should be together. Jackie left Knight and advised him to be with her ex daughter in law and their son. Bridget and Owen become a couple and Jackie was on a rebound with Eric Forrester. Jackie even considered marrying the Forrester man. Owen appeared and revealed to Jackie that he misses her and reminded her that their divorce wasn't yet finalized. Jackie was torn because she had little Logan on her mind, but when both Owen and Bridget made it clear that Owen will be in Logan's life, but not as his mothers romantic partner Jackie took her husband back. The Knights promised undying love to one another and remain together until this day. At one point they moved to New York where they spend a lot of time with Logan and Bridget.
