Nicholas 'Nick' Preston is a character from The Bold and the Beautiful, portrayed by Clyde Hayes from April 7, 1988 to March 2, 1989.
Storylines[]
On April 7, 1988 Tommy Bayland gives Donna Logan the address of the magazine publisher for whom he is taking the pictures. Donna is surprised when she arrives at Nick Preston's luxurious Brentwood home. The publisher is much younger than expected and very handsome. Donna is disappointed, though, when Nick asks her to strip and leaves.
On March 2, 1989 Donna surprises Nick by wearing his engagement ring. With great sadness, Nicholas explains that she is better off without him because he will lose his job and have to move elsewhere while Bill Spencer Sr. can offer her a bright future in publishing. They end their relationship and Donna goes to see Bill. When Bill will not talk to her, Donna leaves a heartfelt letter in which she expresses her gratitude for the chance to get to know him. At Forrester Creations, Rocco takes his job to supervise security a little bit too serious.
