Marion was the wife of Bill Spencer Sr. and the mother of two of his daughters Caroline Spencer and Karen Spencer. Marion and Bill lived in Chicago and they moved to Los Angeles when Marion was already seriously ill. Marion died in 1986 in September. She was buried in San Juan Capistrano as she found this place really beautiful.
In January 1990 Caroline and her fiance Ridge Forrester visited Marion's resting place shortly before their wedding.
