Storylines[]
Massimo Marone wanted to help Stephanie Forrester save their son Ridge Forrester's marriage to Taylor Hayes so they both tried to keep Brooke Logan away from Ridge. Brooke tried to lure Ridge away from Taylor and she refused to give up on Ridge. Massimo paid $5 million to Brooke's father Stephen Logan to lie to Brooke that he was going to die so that Brooke would move in with him in Paris. Taylor and Brooke's mother Beth Logan felt guilty following this show because it was unfair to Brooke. Massimo sent Jacques to seduce Brooke so that she would forget about Ridge. Jacques took Brooke on a date at the Eiffel Tower where he kissed her, but Brooke stopped him and she told him she was still in love with Bridge. Jacques told her Ridge would never be hers since he was married to Taylor. Brooke told him it wasn't true and she tried to escape him, but she fell off the Eiffel Tower and was injured. Brooke's injury only brought Ridge and Brooke closer and that's how Massimo's plan failed.
