Jacob Wayne Young (born September 10, 1979) is an American actor and singer. He has portrayed Rick Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful from 1997-99 and 2011-2018. His other most notable role is that of ruthless business executive JR Chandler on ABC's All My Children from 2003-2011 and Lucky Spencer on General Hospital from 2000-2003.
He was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for his role of Rick Forrester in 1999. In 2002, he won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for his tole of Lucky Spencer on General Hospital. In 2005, he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for his role of JR Chandler on All My Children. And in 2009, he was nominated for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for his role of JR Chandler.
He also received consecutive Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his role of Rick Forrester in 2015 and 2016.
Young released his new song Better Than a Love Song in January 2018.
