Jack Hamilton Marone is the legal son of Nick Marone and Taylor Hamilton. Nick is his biological father and Brooke Logan unknowingly provided the egg from which he was conceived, technically making her his biological mother.
He has been portrayed by Cameron and McKenzi Carr as a baby, minorly played by Mallory Mae Garza during the time of his birth and most recently portrayed by Frank and Morgan Gingerich.
Storylines[]
Conception, birth, and childhood[]
Nick Marone and his then-wife Taylor Hamilton wanted a baby, but due to Taylor's fertility issues they used an egg donor. Several months later, Taylor prematurely gave birth to a baby boy whom she named Jack Hamilton in honor of her father. Baby Jack was soon diagnosed with an immune system deficiency and needed a bone marrow transplant, prompting Taylor to seek out the egg donor. Bridget Forrester, Taylor's doctor, revealed that there had been a mix-up at the lab. Jack's biological mother was none other than Brooke Logan, Bridget's mother and Taylor's long-time nemesis. Brooke donated her bone marrow and Jack was saved.
When Taylor struggled to bond with Jack, she began drinking again. Nick and Taylor soon divorced and a bitter custody battle ensued, with Nick seeking assistance from Taylor. Ultimately, Taylor and Nick were given joint custody, but when Taylor continued to be unable to bond with Jack, she asked Brooke to help raise him instead.
