Storylines[]

Arrival in Los Angeles and Relationship with Stephanie Forrester[]

Jack arrived in Los Angeles in attempt to repair his strained relationship with his children, largely in part to his past gambling addiction. Amidst little effect of reunion, he met and began dating Taylor's mother-in-law, Stephanie Forrester. The relationship blossomed, however, took a turn when Jack's substantial gambling debt led to hired goons from the casinos to endanger Stephanie's daughter, Felicia Forrester, as means of blackmail. Jack proposed to Stephanie and the couple were briefly engaged, but Stephanie ended the relationship upon learning his involvement in what happened to Felicia.

Relationship with Sally Spectra[]

Jack began providing accounting services to Spectra Fashions. The business proprietor, Sally Spectra, heavily crushed on Jack, who remained interested in Stephanie. Not knowing that Jack had a gambling problem, Sally was unaware that Jack embezzled money from her own accounts to pay off debt; this was unnoticed as Jack returned money to the account with an additional amount of interest. After Stephanie dumped Jack, Sally consoled and began dating him, albeit worrying that Jack wasn't over Stephanie.

Jack did not appreciate or approve of Spectra's habit of knocking off patented designs from Forrester Creations, which led to numerous arguments with Sally, and a brief separation. After Jack and Sally reunited, Sally lied that she was pregnant with Jack's child, giving him reason to marry her. Sally held an extravagant bachelorette party, including an appearance from romance novel cover boy Fabio. Stephanie eventually discovered the relationship and caught onto Sally's pregnancy lie, leading her to reveal to Jack the truth.

Jack left Sally, and attempted to reconcile with Stephanie, but was refused with a violent slap. Jack had left Los Angeles by late 1995 but returned for brief appearances.

Later Ventures and Legacy[]

Jack had suffered a heart attack in 1996, revealed to Taylor in local Los Angeles news, whilst living in Morocco with then-husband Prince Omar Rashid. A horrified and devastated Taylor begged Omar to allow her to visit Jack; however, Omar refused.

Jack attended Taylor's funeral in late 2002, after she was believed to have been killed by then-psychopathic-criminal Sheila Carter. Jack was furious to see Taylor's long-term rival Brooke Logan in attendance, alongside Taylor's believed-widower Ridge Forrester, and Jack's grandchildren. Jack berated Brooke for her attendance, stating his anger with Brooke's mistreatment of Taylor, and claiming that the death of his child could have been avoided had she not become involved with the Forrester family.

In early 2005, upon learning of Taylor's false demise and return to Los Angeles, Jack briefly returned to see her.

In 2007, Jack Hamilton Marone, the legal son of Taylor and Nick Marone, was named after Jack.
