Jack and Li are married since many years. Li couldn't have her own children so the couple adopted a baby boy Finn Finnegan. The couple gave their son the best care and education. They were over the moon when their son met his future wife Steffy Forrester who they liked very much. The perfect harmony has been destroyed when Finn's biological mother Sheila Carter decided to attend Finn's and Steffy's wedding. Steffy was furious because Sheila harmed her family in the past. What nobody, including Li didn't know is that Finn was a fruit of his and Sheila's affair. When Li was busy with work Jack had fun with Sheila and when she got pregnant he convinced her to let him adopt the boy. At first Jack was paralyzed with fear that Sheila will tell is wife anything, but eventually he decided to do the right thing and he told Li the truth. A heartbroken Li asked Jack to tell Finn the truth. Finn was furious for lying to him and for hurting his adoptive mother. It's unknown if Li forgave Jack. There was no mention about their divorce or them still staying together.
In April 2022 they faced a horrible tragedy as their son Finn died with the hands of Sheila Carter, his own biological mother. Sheila wanted to kill Finn's wife, but accidentally shot her own child. Jack was devastated and wanted to grieve with Li, but she didn't want to see him. Later it came out that Li was secretly hiding their son Finn who was not really dead. The hospital staff gave up on Finn, but Li couldn't. She tried to heal him in secret until Sheila found them and almost killed Li. For some days Li was wandering the streets in LA and Sheila took care of Finn believing that she killed Li. Finn woke up and was kept by Sheila. Li was saved by Bill Spencer Jr. and they both went to save Finn from crazy Sheila. Li was grateful to Bill and the two of them bonded while talking about their lives. In a conversation with Bill Li revealed that she and Jack are over.
