Fenmore's

Fenmore's (also called Fenmore's Department Stores) was a chain of stores with its home office located in Genoa City.

Profile[]

Fenmore's was founded by Neil Fenmore and was a very successful business. Neil opened his first store in New York which was closed. When he died his daughter, Lauren Fenmore, inherited it. Fenmore's was located at the bottom floor of the Jabot Cosmetics building. Fenmore's was a multigenerational boutique that sold designer clothing, wedding dresses, accessories and shoes as well as tableware.

In 2003, Jackie Marone moved to LA working at Lauren Fenmore's Department Stores. Jackie fell in love with CEO of Forrester Creations, Eric Forrester.

In 2010, Jill Abbott sued Lauren Fenmore for half of Fenmore's. Jill won co-ownership of Fenmore's because Neil's will stated that his heirs would inherit the company. Since Jill had been proved to be an heir of Neil's, she was awarded her fair share of his estate.

In 2017, Jabot Cosmetics acquired Fenmore's, making it a subsidiary.

In 2023, the fashion show showdown between Eric and Ridge Forrester gets underway, and there will be some big guests on hand. The Young and the Restless stars Tracey Bregman and Kate Linder will be crossing over from Genoa City. Bregman’s Lauren Fenmore and Linder’s Esther Valentine will both be attending the show and are scheduled to air on October 25, 26 and 27. CBS shares that it is always has been a lifelong dream for Esther to own a Forrester Creations Original while Lauren, who is a fashion buyer and who owns her chain of department stores, arrives in town having received two ‘golden tickets’ to the exclusive fashion show.
