Diana Carter is the daughter of Sheila Carter and Massimo Marone.

In 2003, Sheila kidnapped Ridge Forrester and told Massimo Marone she wanted him to know the pain of losing a child. He assumed she meant Ridge but, then she smiled, and said she wasn't referring to Nick Marone or Ridge. Massimo was shocked when Sheila opened her coat to reveal the baby inside. She revealed that he had impregnated her, and that she had named the baby Diana, after the goddess who protected the innocent. Massimo begged to see the baby and hold his daughter just once. Sheila relented, and the moment he had the baby in hand, Massimo demanded Sheila be arrested. She immediately grabbed her daughter, and managed to get away. Sheila returned to the foundry, where she introduced Nick and Ridge to their baby half-sister, before escaping with Diana (who has neither been seen nor mentioned since).
