Quinn and Carter started their relationship with a scandalous affair while Quinn was married to Eric Forrester. Together they found passion that they desperately both needed in their lives. Quinn is a jewelry designer at Forrester Creations and Wyatt Spencer's mother. Carter Walton is a Chief Operating Officer and Patent Attorney. He is also an adoptive brother of Marcus Forrester. We often see him as a wedding officiate.

Bonding and an affair (2021)[]
Quinn was talking to Carter on behalf of Zoe Buckingham, Carter's ex fiance. Zoe wanted to go back to Carter after she cheated on him, but he couldn't forgive her. At first Quinn tried to just talk Carter into going back to Zoe, but after some time she shared her own story and how lonely she is in her marriage to Eric Forrester. Quinn and her husband had intimacy problems after another scheme the woman has orchestrated. Carter was also lonely and they bonded over this. Both of them needed intimacy and it was a matter of time before the two of them ended up having sex. They said that they felt guilty for betraying Eric who was not only Quinn's life, but also Carter's very good friends however they had sex again right away. When Quinn again visited Carter for sex Zoe came to Carter's loft unannounced. Quinn hid under the bed, but Zoe could see her clothes in her ex fiance's bedroom. She was hurt when she realized that there was another woman in Carter's bed. Zoe told Quinn about it because she didn't know that her new friend was the lover. Quinn was terrified that Zoe might find out and she told her best friend Shauna Fulton about it. When Zoe recognized Quinn's jacket as the one that was in Carter's bedroom Shauna grabbed the jacket and was pretending that she was the one that was sleeping with Carter. Quinn was grateful that Shauna lied for her. Soon Eric decided that he moved on from Quinn's latest scheme against his family and the two ended up in bed. Quinn was overjoyed. Carter decided to forgive his ex fiance when he realized that after what he did with his friends wife he should stop judging Zoe for her past indiscretion. The two were newly engaged and everything seemed to go well however one day Paris Buckingham, Zoe's sister heard the two talking about it and found out that it was Quinn. She called Quinn out on pretending that she's Zoe's friend, but she was convinced by Quinn that it's best to keep it a secret as she doesn't want to lose her husband.
Brooke outing Quinn and Carter out[]
Quinn and Eric were about to renew their vows when Brooke Logan Forrester appeared and told the truth about Quinn's affair. Paris was the one who told her about it. Quinn tried to convince Eric to continue the ceremony and she didn't want to own up to her mistake, but Carter was honest. When Eric realized that his wife cheated on him with his employee and good friend he exiled her from home. Eric told Carter that he can keep his position at Forrester if he won't see Quinn again however Quinn and Carter were still having sex in secret.
Quinn back with Eric and Carter starts a relationship with Paris[]
After Eric saw his crazy ex wife Sheila Carter at his granddaughters wedding he started missing Quinn. He asked her to come over and ripped the divorce papers. Quinn went to tell carter about it. He was very disappointed, but encouraged her to go back to Eric. Quinn was sad, but she quickly went back to Eric. Soon Eric told Quinn that he has an erectile dysfunction and soon asked her and Carter to have sex while she's still married to him. At first Quinn and Carter didn't want to say yes, but eventually they started having sex again. When Eric's family found out they were angry, but Eric explained to them that he asked Quinn and Carter to do it because he can't fulfill his wife sexually. After some time Quinn and Carter stopped sleeping together and Quinn tried to be a good wife to Eric, but their sex life continued to be dead. One day Eric discovered that he has no ED when he hugs his ex wife Donna Logan. Quinn learned about it and she demanded from Eric to fire Donna. Eric agreed to it and, but soon he started seeing Donna behind Quinn's back. Still in celibacy, Quinn had feelings for Carter, but apart from flirting with Carter a bit she didn't do anything to destroy her marriage. She was focused on Eric while Carter was depressed. Quinn saw that Carter is sad, but she assured him that she is committed to Eric however she was against Carter moving on with Paris Buckingham, a girl that he was seeing for a short time and didn't love. While Carter was preparing to marry another woman Quinn was concentrated in repairing what she and Eric once had even if she often thought about Carter and begged him not to marry a woman that he doesn't love. On Carter and Paris's wedding day Quinn caught her husband cheating with Donna. Eric explained to Quinn that he wants to be with Donna and encouraged Quinn to stop Carter and Paris's wedding as he knew that she is in love with Carter.
Quinn and Carter back together again[]

Quinn managed to stop the wedding. She explained that she loves Carter and that Eric wants to be with Donna. Paris asked Carter to continue the ceremony, but he just kissed her hand and went straight to Quinn. The two kissed on the eyes of a heartbroken Paris and all the other guests. After this Carter tried to apologize to Paris for leaving her at the altar, but Grace Buckingham, Paris' mom slapped him. Carter asked Quinn to go home with him and the two made love in Carter's loft.
Unexpected end[]
One day Quinn decided to leave Carter and Los Angeles. Walton didn't understand why Quinn left after everything they went through to finally be together. Carter told Katie Logan about his love leaving him and how he was ready to marry her. Katie told him that he deserves better and at one point the two of them kissed.
