Kristen is the daughter of Eric Forrester and Stephanie Forrester. Antonio is a talented fashion designer and the two met because Kristen wanted to convince Antonio to work for her parents company. The two fall in love deeply and are one of the most long lasting couples on B&B. They have an adopted son Zende Forrester Dominguez.
Antonio working at the Spectra Fashion House[]
Antonio is a talented fashion designer and Eric Forrester wanted him at Forrester Creations. Eric sends his daughter Kristen to talk with him and offer him a job, but Antonio is moved by Sally Spectra's story about Macy's death and joins Forrester's competitors instead. He even designs a special collection dedicated to Macy Alexander Sharpe, Sally's late daughter.
Falling in love[]
Despite Antonio choosing Spectra Fashion's over Forrester Creations the two fall madly in love with one another. For a short period of time Antonio's ex lover Sofia Alonso tries to break them up, but realizes that she has no chance to win Antonio's heart because he is so in love with the beautiful Forrester woman.
Antonio learns he has AIDS[]
Tony receives shocking news about the death of his ex lover Ellen. He travels to Miami with Kristen in order to attend Ellen's funeral and pay his respects to the woman he once loved. Soon he find out that his ex found out that she has AIDS and she committed suicide. Antonio is shocked and he starts avoiding physical contact with Kristen who he claims to love more than any other woman he ever was with. He struggles with his thoughts and he decides to talk to doctor Taylor Hayes who is a psychiatrist. After talking to her he decides to take a test. Unfortunately Antonio learns that he has aids. He decides that he has to leave Kristen and start treatment. She doesn't want to listen to this and she stays by Antonio's side.
The Forrester's learn that Dominguez is HIV positive and they are horrified. Eric demanded from Tony to leave Kristen to keep her safe from the illness. Clarke Garrison, Kristen's ex husband also tries to break Antonio and Kristen up, but the couple stands strong and they have a consultation with a doctor to learn how they can have "safe sex".

With time the Forrester's stated to accept Kristen's choice to be with Antonio. The two get married and Antonio's parents Liliana Dominguez and Eduardo Dominguez travel to Los Angeles and join the ceremony. After a lovely wedding ceremony the two go for a honeymoon to Africa where they meet a local boy named Zende. The two are moved by the boys story. Zende lost his parents and brother to AIDS and was helping other children at the orphanage that Kristen and Antonio visited during their stay in Africa. The couple goes back to USA, but they both can't stop thinking about Zende. Kristen and Antonio decided to go back to Africa and adopt the boy. Zende was thrilled to finally have a family again. The couple took Zende to the States. In 2005 the family moves to Florida.
Brief visits in LA (2012,2013,2017)[]
In November 2012 Kristen and Antonio join Stephanie Forrester's goodbye party and in December they join the Forrester's for Christmas.
In 2013 the couple again spends Christmas with the family in LA.
During Zende's and Nicole's wedding
In 2017 the two come back to Los Angeles to attend Zende's and Nicole Avant's wedding.
