Actor Jeremy Ray Valdez is set to reprise his role of Detective Alex Sanchez on Bold and the Beautiful. As Soaps.com reported, Valdez joined Bold and Beautiful in March 2018 and the character was last seen November 26, 2018. The actor was on set taping scenes July 10. He shared a photo on his Instagram account and enthused, “Love that I got to spend my birthday chopping it up with the coolest cast and crew on the planet!” Valdez returns to the canvas beginning August 18 and will air into the fall.
Storylines[]
Detective Alex Sanchez makes his mark as the newest member of the LAPD, accompanying Lieutenant Bradley Baker. His first case to solve is the mystery of who shot business tycoon, Bill Spencer Jr.. Later that year, Bill falls of a balcony after a fight with Ridge Forrester and Thorne Forrester. Sanchez returns to the screen for this case.
In 2019 Thomas Forrester was pushed off a cliff by Brooke Logan, who thought her daughter Hope Logan was in danger. Ridge Forrester saw it all happen. Detective Sanchez wants to know from Thomas if Brooke did it on purpose. But Thomas decides to lie to the police and Brooke don't get arrested. Meanwhile, Sanchez is present when Flo Fulton gets out of jail thanks to Ridge Forrester. Ridge get hugged by Shauna Fulton, who is very thankfull about Ridge's "help". In reality, this was in Ridge's opinion the best thing he could do for his son and family.
In 2021, Deputy Baker and Detective Sanchez develop a theory about Vinny’s death.
